The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the countryside. We were blown away by the spacious and cozy room, complete with a fireplace and a generous supply of firewood. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel special.
The Wi-Fi in the rooms was quite unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected at times. the restaurant fell short of our expectations, with mediocre food that didn't quite live up to the rest of the experience.

Absolutely loved the peaceful countryside setting and the attention to detail by the staff. Free bikes and child seat, cot provided, fantastic food, and the wine factory tour was a highlight. Lovely bike rides and the opportunity to visit and interact with the animals on the estate. The traditional picnic by the lake was a wow moment. a gem of a place to escape and enjoy the nature.
Felt totally at home, no complaints.

Guests can enjoy a peaceful location with beautiful views over the estate and lake. Activities such as minigolf, boat rides, and bike tours provide entertainment, while the hotel's diverse amenities cater to various needs.
The entrance can be easily overlooked due to the lack of signage on the main road.

I had the most perfect romantic retreat at Herdade Dos Grous. The idealic setting, with sunshine in January, was a bonus! The accommodation was fine, with a double room that had gorgeous views over the lake and valley. The little extras like candles, incense sticks, complimentary wine, and fruit made our stay even more wonderful. We loved the cozy atmosphere, especially with the open fire and plenty of logs. The terrace was perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. I'll definitely recommend this amazing place for a romantic getaway.
I wished there were more staff members available to ask about facilities like horse riding and renting a canoe. It would have been helpful if we had received a tour on arrival to familiarize ourselves with the hotel.

A charming hotel with beautiful surroundings. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of our junior suite, and the evening meals were gourmet. The grounds were spectacular, with stunning sunset views. My daughter loved the bike trails and the proximity to farm animals. The pool area was fantastic, and we enjoyed paddle boating on the lake. Our room was comfortable and we appreciated the complimentary wine. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.
